Jot a thought, save it, come back to it.
Each number is focus sessions banked that day.
From completed focus sessions (logged since v8).
Every completed session, newest first — tap a focus row to note what you got done. Totals from before v8 live in History.
Tip: export occasionally — browser data can be cleared. Import replaces everything currently stored.
One focus block. Focus Timely uses the Pomodoro method: work in a fixed interval (default 25 min), take a short break, repeat — with a long break after a few. Each completed focus block is one session.
Under the hood, yes — you work in fixed focused intervals with breaks between. You don't need to know the method to use it: just start the timer, and each completed block is one focus session.
Only completed focus sessions. A running timer counts for nothing until the block finishes, and pressing Reset or Skip before the end banks nothing. Breaks never count toward focus stats.
No. A session always counts toward your goal, streak and history. If a task is selected it's also attributed to that task (its sessions + category); the task is locked in when you press Start, so switching tasks mid‑session won't reassign it. With no task selected, the session logs as Uncategorised.
It's planning only. When you add a task you can estimate how many focus sessions it'll take; the badge then tracks done / estimated (e.g. 2/3). It never affects the timer.
In Schedule you can mark which days you work. A day off is transparent — it never breaks your streak and isn't counted against your goal. Only a missed working day ends a streak.
Everything lives in this browser only (localStorage) — nothing is sent anywhere. Use Export below to back it up; clearing browser data or switching device/domain will lose it.
